Meet Nicola

Nicola Russell Bub and Beyond

Hi, I’m Nicola, Mum of 2, certified level 3 OCN baby and child sleep consultant and founder of Bub & Beyond.

Like many parents I know how hard sleep deprivation can be. There were numerous nights that we found ourselves sleeping on the floor in our son’s room just to help him settle back to sleep. We felt we had tried everything. Every tip, every trick, every bit of advice, yet nothing seemed to work. I remember sitting up at 2am, googling answers, desperately searching for a quick fix. I know what it feels like to dread bedtime and how isolating it can feel when it seems like everyone else has it figured out.

Alongside my sleep certification, I hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years and Child Development, which underpins everything I do. In addition to supporting babies and children, I have completed extensive specialist training to work with neurodivergent children and their families, particularly where sleep feels more complex.
